How to publish your client stories on SMP Compare

Publishing on SMP Compare

SMP Compare is the comparison site for SMP. Visited by over 3000 prospective clients from around the world every single day, SMP Compare is the essential marketing tool for all SMP artists.

To publish client stories on SMP Compare, you need an active Team Micro Plus account.

How does it work?

Simply post your latest work on your own Instagram account.

We monitor your account daily import any new posts we find. Our in-house AI system understands your business and uses this data, and the content of your post, to create a unique and compelling client story. The story is scheduled for manual review and approval, and is usually processed within 2 business days.

Where are client stories published?

Your three most recent client stories appear on your business profile page.

They also appear on city pages, the highest traffic pages on SMP Compare, where we can accommodate up to 60 client stories. The most recent client stories posted by artists in your city appear at the top, so be sure to add new client stories to your Instagram as often as you can.

More than one Instagram account?

To check that we’re monitoring the correct Instagram account, simply email compare@teammicro.com. We will check for you and let you know.

Nothing appearing on SMP Compare?

If you’re posting regularly on your Instagram account, but your posts are not converting to client stories on SMP Compare, please check to ensure your posts meet our eligibility criteria:

• Your posts must feature a client story.
• Your posts must be SMP related. We do not approve non-SMP posts.
• Your posts must not contain music that is subject to copyright restrictions. Some music is licensed for use on Instagram, but not elsewhere and we are often unable to retrieve a post if it would violate copyright.

Recommendations for best results

As our system is AI-driven, the more information provided, the better the client stories will be. For best results we recommend the following:

• Ensure your captions are at least 40 words long. The longer, the better.
• Be sure to describe anything interesting about the specific client. If its a scar camouflage, alopecia concealment or a density procedure, say so in your caption and our AI will utilise this in the content.
• Try not to repeat blocks of content in all your captions.

Please note our system strips hashtags and emojis, so you will not see them on SMP Compare.
