Hermoso Hair Design
Wetherby, Leeds

Wetherby’s very first scalp micropigmentation clinic set in Yorkshire’s golden triangle central between Harrogate, Leeds and York. Located in Wetherby town centre in a private business centre to ensure absolute privacy to it’s clients with a homely feel and on-site parking. Owner Sarah Trask trained with Lukan Griffith at LGs, one of the UK’s leading trainers.

“I always wanted a career I was passionate about. Following a lifelong interest in makeup, aesthetics and medical tattooing, I entered the world of permanent cosmetics and never looked back. I trained with Lukan, not really knowing what to expect. However from the moment I started a treatment on my first model I absolutely loved every moment. From there I opened my clinic in June 2019 in Wetherby as I felt there was a great lack of hair loss treatment options in the area.

The clinic currently offers scalp micropigmentation but with a view in the future to also offer other hair replication treatments and open a larger studio with 2 other technicians. Our aim is to offer extremely competitive pricing yet a great standard of treatment…and happy confident clients!”

leeds scalp micropigmentation reviews

New scalp micropigmentation clinic near Leeds

For many years, West Yorkshire has suffered from a chronic shortage of scalp micropigmentation clinics.

It’s crazy when you think about it. Leeds is the UK’s third largest city, with a bigger population than Manchester and Glasgow, both of which have thriving scalp micropigmentation industries, and played host to the first ever Team Micro Meeting Of Minds conference in May 2017. Vinci Hair Clinic operates a hair transplant and SMP clinic in the city, but until now they have remained the only serious contender in the area. This has now changed with the opening of Studio Aesthetics, a group of highly talented individuals offering a scalp micropigmentation service in the nearby city of Wakefield.

With a background in artistic tattooing, lead technicians Leon Walker and Eugene Bruce are no strangers to detailed pigmentation techniques. However, while many tattooists around the world simply offer the service within their pre-existing tattoo parlour, Studio Aesthetics has taken their offering to a whole new level with the renovation of an entirely separate facility, designed exclusively for scalp micropigmentation procedures.

How much do they charge?

The standard rate for a scalp micropigmentation procedure at Studio Aesthetics is £1800. Right now however, they are offering full treatments for just £995, to clients who are happy to allow them to use their before and after photographs on their website.

What about their results?

Leon and Eugene produce some really great results, with naturally structured hairlines and expert blending to create a seamless illusion.

Studio Aesthetics

Located on the Bull Ring, an upmarket square in Wakefield city centre, the Studio Aesthetics clinic is nothing like you’d expect it to be, given the Founders tattooing roots. Decorated with exquisite fixtures and fittings, the clinic is both comfortable and welcoming with a stunning reception area and multiple treatment rooms.

On street car parking is diffficult to find, however several large outdoor car parks are within a 3 minute walk.

Getting there

Although the clinic was established primarily to cater for clients in Leeds, in reality they come from much further afield.

In geographic terms, the clinic couldn’t be better placed. Situated where the M62 meets the M1, road transport links are arguably better than any other UK clinic. Clients travelling from Sheffield, Barnsley, Hull, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield will probably find the easiest way to do so is by car.

Furthermore, the city is a major hub along the east coast main line, so getting a train from connecting cities like London, Peterborough, Doncaster, Leeds, York, Newcastle and even Edinburgh and Inverness, is really straightforward. Air travel is also provided via nearby Leeds/Bradford and Robin Hood airports.
