If you’re here to see what happens when scalp micropigmentation treatments go wrong, I guess you’re considering a treatment for yourself and you’re looking for the catch. The downside. The horror stories. See? I thought so. You’re a cynical bunch!
Scalp micropigmentation does turn out bad sometimes. Clients can experience side effects, treatments can turn blue, or resemble a helmet appearance if not done correctly. But rarely when you choose the right clinic. It’s usually just a case of doing your homework beforehand. Avoid the obvious warning signs by asking your chosen clinic these six key questions.
Anyway, you came here to see something go wrong, so here it is. Who said clinics don’t have a sense of humor? 🙂
Hi Damien
I’m wanting to have the smp treatment. But my funds are low can you give me some advice on which way I could go and in your mind who should I go with HIS or Vinci
Thanks for your time and hope to hear back soon
Hello Jimmy
If funds are low, bear in mind that all major providers charge about the same for treatment and although slight discounts are possible, heavy discounts are unlikely. Generally speaking the average client will pay around £3000 with HIS and £3500 with Vinci I believe. The best price in the UK with a major provider is probably going to be with Scalp Aesthetics at around £2500. It’s worth checking though.
Assuming you have no scars, and if you’re willing to wait until November, I’m opening a place in Leeds. In return for some before and after snaps I’m happy to do your treatment for £1800. Drop me an email to damien@scalpguru.com if you’re interested, and I’ll keep you posted as to progress.

I got quoted £2000 from Vinci (Manchester). That was for Part Scalp MSP treatment (top, frontal third).
