Scalp Micropigmentation clinic in Wellington, New Zealand.
Many regular tattoo inks and permanent makeup pigments can discolor when attacked by the immune system and ultraviolet rays from the sun, these inks degrade and break down into their constituent colors. This usually results in a visible blue hue on the scalp, significantly compromising the quality of the result.
The absence of constituent color compounds in our pigments remove any risk of discoloration. Our pigments do not degrade easily under UV radiation, fading slowly but never, ever changing color.
Our pigments are carbon based, inert, hydrophobic and chemically unreactive under most biochemical changes. Allergic reactions are extremely rare, and pigment rejection is less of a problem than with other pigments not formulated for the scalp. The metal content in our pigments is extremely low, far lower than traditional tattoo inks and permanent makeup pigments, therefore our pigments do not cause any issues with MRI or similar scans.
Quite simply our pigments are the safest pigments available for scalp micropigmentation, anywhere in the world.
