Ryan Kingsbury was born in Midland and raised in Auburn, Michigan. Growing up he always had a passion for art and drawing, specifically monochramatic pencil portraits. He began drawing at a young age and started doing portraits for different people which also gained him some national awards while he was still in school.
Apart from his love of art he later worked with youth in his father’s ministry and worked in many different outreaches as well as speaking at different venues including rescue missions. His love of people greatly shows in his everyday life through always trying to reach out and help someone in need. A desire that was instilled in him from a young age from his parents Karen and Dwight.
Upon graduating he worked as an assistant teacher for 4 years at a school/daycare and taught the kids how to draw as well as taking care of them. From there he became a Coordinator for a main line in a General Motors plant running and fixing the various automated stations and computers. He then started at a Medical school and became Nationaly Certified as a Medical Assistant and worked in a very respected clinic in Essexville, Michigan.
Around that same time Ryan met the love of his life and shortly after began looking into the SMP industry.
“I wanted to combine my medical background and my artistic background together and become the best I could be at SMP”
He then trained not once but twice and became double certified. Ryan moved to London, Ontario where his wife who is a master PMU artist of 16 years runs her own studio and academy, He then opened up his own clinic after practicing and perfecting his newly found passion. He now treats men and women and produces some of the very best work in Canada and his passion and love for helping people regain their confidence truly shows in his work.
“It’s my humble honor and privilege to help people any way that I can and to see a smile come back to their face with restored confidence.”
Ryan Kingsbury believes the SMP industry should work as one team with one goal – uplift, encourage, and help each other, no matter what.
