I want your custom design service. How does the process work?

We have built custom websites for over 300 PMU and SMP clinics, so our process is well practiced and for your convenience, keeps the input needed from you to a minimum.

The first step is to schedule a call with our team. Once you decide to go ahead, we allocate your website project to one of our three talented designers, dependent on which designer we believe is the best fit for your requirements.

We set up a Facebook Messenger group, introduce you to your designer, and we ask a few questions so we understand what needs to be done. We need access to any photos you may have, so you can share a Google Drive or Dropbox folder with us, or we can send you a Dropbox link to upload your photos to our account. We need a few logins and permissions, but nothing too onerous.

We guarantee to provide your draft website design by no later than 4 weeks from the date we receive your photos. We then allow additional time, usually 2 weeks, for any edits and changes you request.

When your website is ready, we point your domain name at our server where your website is located, and your website goes live within 2-12 hours depending how long it takes the change to propagate around the web.

We will help set up any domain-related email accounts on your devices, for example info@yourwebsite.com.

Any changes requested after your go-live date require a maintenance plan, or we can provide you with a login and show you how to make basic changes yourself.

I want the Launch Pad. How does the process work?

Simply choose a design and place your order. Next, complete our questionnaire so we know what services you offer and what information is needed on your new website.

We then start the build. The design of your website is determined by the design chosen, your logo, and by the color scheme our designers believe best fit your branding. Many of these elements can be changed later. Your website is usually completed within one business day.

When your website is complete and live, you will receive a login to access the settings needed to edit your website. You also have access to our comprehensive support portal for video tutorials about how to make changes and updates. We doubt you’ll need our help, but if you do, we are on hand to assist when required.

Will the Launch Pad work for my business?

Your Launch Pad website is intelligently designed to maximize positive actions, so potential customers visiting your website are much more likely to contact you. This is obviously great for your business, and will impact your bottom line.

Is my Launch Pad website easy to manage?

Our Launch Pad websites are built with ease in mind. You don’t need a degree in IT to figure out how to do basic things, and we’ve created a comprehensive library of video tutorials to explain how to do the most common tasks.

Many of our clients have very limited knowledge of websites and technology, yet are able to comfortably maintain their own website using our tutorials.

Will my website display correctly on mobile devices?

Yes. Whichever service you choose, all websites built by Team Micro are fully mobile responsive and adhere to all best practices stipulated by Google.

To what extent can I customize my website?

For our Custom Design Service customers, we customize your website entirely to meet your specific needs.

The following features of our Launch Pad websites are customized or added when we create your website:

What pages can I have on my website?

If you buy our Custom Design Service, your website will contain however many pages you want and need. As well as your home page, about us page, gallery, FAQ’s etc, we usually include specific pages for each of your services as this is the optimal way to present information to customers, and to search engines. Some services will have multiple pages, for example your Brows section may have separate pages for Microblading, Ombre, Hairstroke, Combination etc. If you offer SMP, this section may have separate pages for Men, Women, Alopecia and Scars.

If you order a Launch Pad Website, you will specify during the order process which services you offer in your clinic. We will then add the relevant pages to your website. These are the services you can choose from, although we can add more if we have sufficient demand, and you can always add extra pages using our video tutorials:

All website text is included? What do you mean?

If you’re buying our Custom Design Service, your website can use text content from your existing website (if you have one), or it can be written for you. All PMU content is written by a seasoned technician with 12 years in the field, and all SMP content is written by Team Micro, the world’s leading authority in scalp micropigmentation.

If you want a Launch Pad Website, all pages come pre-configured with content that is written with accuracy and conversions in mind, however you can edit the text yourself anytime with our easy video tutorial.

What photos are included?

If you’re buying our Custom Design Service, we use photos provided by you, and we can use our extensive in-house library of stock images if needed. We need photos to dress your pages, usually used as full width banner images at the top of each page, as well as your before and after photos.

Our Launch Pad Websites include over 350 stock photos that can be inserted into your website with just a couple of clicks. We include specific stock photos for all procedures, as well as some micropigmentation training photos and generic stock photos.

Our stock images are sourced from multiple image libraries, and from professionals around the industry who have granted permission for their use by Team Micro clients. Collectively, the stock image library at your disposal cost over $6000 to compile, but is included for free with your website package.

Please note we do not provide before and after photos. Custom Design Service customers will need to provide their own, or we can feed your Gallery page directly from your Instagram account. This is a good solution for new businesses that do not have large portfolios. Launch Pad Website customers have an Instagram gallery by default, but can use our video tutorials to create a gallery and add their own photos to it.

How do reviews feeds work?

If you’re buying our Custom Design Service, we can feature your reviews from multiple platforms on your website, in one ultra-modern combined feed. We can include reviews from Google, Facebook, the BBB, Yelp and Trustpilot.

Our Launch Pad Websites also include your reviews, however we can only feed reviews from Google and Facebook.

When you receive a new review, your website is updated automatically within a few hours.

Can I integrate my booking system?

Our Custom Design Service customers can request the integration of any booking system, as long as the system has a method that allows this. Typically they provide either a booking link, or some embed code to add the function directly into your website.

If the SEO of your old website is already quite strong, we harness this by correctly redirecting each of your old pages to the correct page on your new site. This ensures Google passes on the benefits to your new website.

If you want a Launch Pad Website, all pages come pre-configured with content, however as the same content is being used on other websites too, you should make the text unique using our video tutorial for SEO best practice.

Can I discuss my website with your team?

If you bought our Custom Design Service, we offer one-on-one support by phone. To facilitate the design process, we set up a dedicated Facebook Messenger group where most communication takes place, however if you would prefer to talk with your designer, just let them know and they’ll be more than happy to arrange a call.

Our Launch Pad Websites service does not include phone or message support. Instead, you have access to a comprehensive library of video tutorials explaining how to complete the most common day to day tasks. If you really need to speak with a member of our team, please message us with your query and we will quote for any work required at our standard rate of $40 USD (£30 GBP) per hour.
